This makes me so angry. I’m on 21000 a year. I take home just over 1200 a month, the rest I loose to taxes. I work til 9 most nights and one day a weekend, planning, marking, making resources. Yes we get holidays, but they are used to try to plan more, or get on top of marking. And get wonderfully ill. Some teachers work 9 til 3. The majority of teachers I know work the same as me.
